    Abstract: A method for preparing a modified cover for a publication that includes scanning the original cover and modifying the scanned cover to include desired indicia. The modified cover is then printed and installed upon the original publication. Alternately, the publication may received electronically and the file containing the cover modified and replaced in the publication. The publication with the modified file is then distributed electronically.
