  • Patent number: 5497515
Abstract: In a water flushing system for a toilet bowl which has been modified to replace the ovoid closed channel which supplies flushing water to the bowl inner sidewalls, there is now substituted a water dispersal conduit assembly adapted to be mounted within the recessed arcuate corner defined by the underside of the ovoid bowl toilet seat ledge and its juncture with the bowl upper sidewalls. The assembly directs water surges from the reserve tank about the bowl periphery and provides same with substantially uniform water impingement on the upper and inner sidewalls. The assembly is readily dismounted from sidewall support buttresses and then broken down for component cleaning and replacement, as required.

  • Patent number: 5450634
Abstract: An incremental dual stage water-flush toilet has been developed to serve as a means of reducing to an absolute minimum the amount of water used in a water-flush type toilet. The toilet is comprised of a trapless toilet bowl with spring-loaded air valves over a pipe trap below floor level, and a water storage tank divided into a small and large compartments. An incremental flushing mechanism allows conventional type manual flushing of the toilet but will allow enough water to run into the bowl to cleanse the bowl and wash waste into the pipe trap below for interim retention. After multiple incremental flushings of that limited type, a major bowl flush containing enough water to clear the toilet bowl and also to wash all retained waste in the pipe trap into the available sewer line occurs. The sequence of smaller flushings with a larger flushing is again repeatable.

  • Patent number: 5163276
Abstract: The multi-purpose attachments for power lawn mower blades are designed to increase the efficiency and usefulness of the mower both to cut lawns and blow snow, leaves or debris from areas. The serrated cutter attachments allow replacement with ease, have longer lasting sharpness and the cutting surface is protected from foreign objects. In addition, the serrated cutters may be manufactured economically enough to allow used cutter attachments to be discarded. The blower attachments are designed to create adequate air pressure to remove snow, leaves and debris from select areas. The blower attachments are also designed to be resilient to assure safe use if foreign objects are struck during such use.

  • Patent number: 5137416
Abstract: A vehicle compressed air energy converter has been developed for use along vehicular roadways, railways and airfield runways to collect wind pressure developed by the vehicles, trains and aircraft moving through the atmosphere and convert such air motion to other useful forms of energy. The converter is activated by the force of the compressed air movement entering the converter and pushing the retractable air fins of the converter in a circular motion. That circular motion is transferred to a central shaft set in bearings at either end of a housing. As the multiplicity of air fins held in place by hinges on a circular rotating base move within the converter housing, the fins move into a retracted posture so as to offer less air resistance as they circulate within the portion of the converter not subject to movement of air from the exterior of the housing.

  • Patent number: 5039407
Abstract: The water reclamation and collection unit is designed to process water used for all purposes except, flushing toilets or fixtures used for depositing human waste, to a cleansed and sanitized condition that will allow such water to be used for any purpose within any facility inhabited by people. In addition this unit is designed to collect exterior moisture in any form from the atmosphere and process such moisture converted to water to a chemical state where it is potable for humans or animals. The total unit process is designed to provide sufficient water to allow persons in a facility to not have to use water from a well, public water distribution system or any other type surface water supply.

  • Patent number: 4999857
Abstract: This invention relates to a sewage waste disposal system for receiving liquid and solid waste, preferably human waste. The waste is heat treated to produce a form of dehydrated solid waste. The solid waste is a waste by-product of the system and may be used as a fertilizer. The system encompasses the use of a trapless toilet bowl which includes a toilet seat and lid and has the appearance of a conventional toilet arrangement for greater public acceptance.

  • Patent number: 4998675
Abstract: The solid waste processing unit will reduce normal waste stream solids, all considered to be nonedible garbage, to 10-15 percent of the original volume ready for recycling or disposal. The unit can be placed in any location and can be manufactured to meet any capacity. The unit crushes, tears and shreds solid waste in a disintegrator which is composed of two sections. The first is a stationary chamber and the second is top cone-shaped drum rotating at high speed and high torque within the stationary chamber. Both sections are equipped with elliptical-patterned cutting heads and the waste is forced down through the chamber by the drum until it is ground into material for sizing in a rotating screening cylinder. The rotating screening cyclinder sizes and sorts the material into storage bins below with the aid of a fan to expedite the screening process. If the screened and sorted waste fills the compartmentized bins to capacity the system is stopped by electrical means.
