    Abstract: An example robot includes a first actuator and a second actuator connecting a first portion of a first member of the robot to a second member of the robot. Extension of the first actuator accompanied by retraction of the second actuator causes the first member to roll in a first roll direction. Retraction of the first actuator accompanied by extension of the second actuator causes the first member to roll in a second roll direction. A third actuator connects a second portion of the first member to the second member. Extension of the third actuator accompanied by retraction of both the first and second actuators causes the first member to pitch in a first pitch direction. Retraction of the third actuator accompanied by extension of both the first and second actuators causes the first member to pitch in a second pitch direction.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a new and useful device for reversibly locking vehicle lug nuts in a stationary position. One of the unique abilities of the present invention is the capacity to lock the lug nuts at roughly the exact degree of tension from the time the apparatus is installed until the apparatus is intentionally removed. A preferred embodiment of the present invention provides an apparatus for locking vehicle lug nuts in a stationary position so as to prevent premature loosening and dislocation during routine vehicle use. The apparatus can withstand extreme differentials in environmental conditions without compromising the degree of tension of the lug nuts. In the furtherance of this and other objectives, the apparatus is preferably designed with a removable cover that can withstand conditions such as wide temperature variances, various forms of moisture, road dirt and salt, metal fatigue and rust, and high heat transference from brakes.

    Abstract: A system for the selection and recall of individual phase, pickup selection, tone, overdrive and volume control for each of a plurality of pickup coils in electric guitars. These various controls for the humbucking pickup coils in the guitar are initially set by either rotary or toggle switches to achieve a particular combination of switch settings. Additional controls then allow the musician to write the states of these various controls into digital memory contained within the guitar. Several such combinations may be memorized and then recalled at a later time by actuation of a memory address selection switch which then reads the contents of the memory for a particular combination of settings and internally causes the various controls to reset themselves to this particular combination of settings.
