  • Patent number: 4259806
Abstract: A simple fluid actuated vehicle is described in the shape of a hollow hand which, by remote bulb pressure, precesses along a given route by means of advancing digits.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 20, 1980
Date of Patent: April 7, 1981
    Assignee: Summit Licensing Company
    Inventor: John H. Troll
  • Patent number: 3944840
Abstract: A wind-to-electric power conversion system is disclosed having ratio-variable entrance and exit openings. The ratio is set by sensing the velocity of the incoming wind, thereby effecting the velocity of the blade set driving an A.C. generator through a flywheel and thereby stabilizing the generator speed.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 7, 1974
Date of Patent: March 16, 1976
    Inventor: John H. Troll
  • Patent number: RE28954
Abstract: A system for automatically calibrating and classifying measuring instruments such as mercury clinical thermometers, by accurately determining the distance between two reference points established by two known reference parameters. The detection of the reference points is made by scanning a laser beam over the mercury column and detecting the change in the reflection characteristic of the beam at the upper level of the column.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 13, 1974
Date of Patent: September 7, 1976
    Assignee: Kaye Thermometer Corporation
Inventors: Cole H. Baker, James D. Geis, Harry Gluz, John H. Troll
