  • Patent number: 6499393
Abstract: A portable barbeque and rotisserie rack is composed of components that can be easily assembled and disassembled into a small package for transporting from one location to another and adaptable for positioning over various types of sources of heat. The components include a frame having a base for placement over a source of heat and two end portions slidably and releasably connectible to the base. A pair of end walls are slidably connectible to the end portions. The frame is configured to hold a rotisserie cradle at an elevated position over the source of heat.

  • Patent number: 6484625
Abstract: The rotisserie motor mounting device for releasably connecting a motor housing having a motor therein to a rotisserie is disclosed. The rotisserie motor mounting device has a shaft extending from one of the rotisserie and a free end selectively connectible to the motor. The rotisserie motor mounting device further includes a support shaft which is releasably connectible to a portion of the rotisserie at one end and the motor housing at the other end. The support shaft has a pair of interconnecting shaft portions which can be adjusted to provide more than one length for the support shaft. One end of each interconnecting shaft portion is connected to a planar configuration. Each planar configuration is slidably attachable within sleeves to the rotisserie and the motor housing.

  • Patent number: 4787302
Abstract: A positioning lever for use with a rotisserie cradle of the type wherein clamping rods may be angularly and radially disposed for the containment of food therein by means of rotational adjustment of two pairs of slotted plates disposed at either end thereof. The positioning lever allows the clamping rods to be quickly and easily repositioned.

  • Patent number: 4688477
Abstract: An improvement of at least one clamping member for use in a rotisserie with a cradle having a pair of longitudinally spaced opposite end plates, and a plurality of longitudinally extending and circumferentially spaced rods fixedly secured to said end plates. A pair of adjacent rods are circumferentially spaced from each other a sufficient distance to define a longitudinal opening for the passage of food into the interior of the cradle. The clamping member has a leg with a longitudinal axis, a first end, and a second end. A food clamp having an L-shaped member is attached to the first end of the leg, and a U-shaped member is fixedly secured adjacent to the corner of the L-shaped member. The second end of the leg is pivotally secured to an adjacent rod, allowing pivotal rotation about and longitudinal movement along the adjacent rod. The second end of the leg is anchorable in a desired angular and longitudinal position on said adjacent rod.

  • Patent number: 4679543
Abstract: A holder for retaining refractory materials with adjustable upper and lower trays, which accommodate and hold securely therebetween the refractory materials. The holder comprises a lower tray having an open bottom mesh, and an upper tray with an open top mesh. The upper tray is telescopically received by the lower tray. Adjustable spacing between the upper and lower tray provides for secure retention of a uniformly distributed layer of radiant refractory material, thus offering a relatively constant dissipation of heat. The adjustable feature is provided by the accommodation of fasteners which extend generally horizontally from the side of the lower tray within vertical slots which are defined within the side walls of the top tray. The holder also provides a convenient means for cleaning the refractory materials after they have become soiled in use.

  • Patent number: 4593613
Abstract: A rotisserie is disclosed which includes a pair of supporting frames that rotatably support a cradle that has means for vertically adjusting the opposite ends of the rotating cradle so that the position of the cradle with respect to a source of heat may be varied. In the selected embodiment the cradle comprises a pair of end plates with a plurality of rods extending between the end plates for securing food to be cooked thereto and in which a selected number of the rods may be moved radially inward to clamp the food in position.
