  • Publication number: 20220284541
Abstract: A system determines an object-design for a three-dimensional model of an object. The object-design may exhibit a design continuity. The system breaks the object-design in to spatial patterns corresponding to the discrete surfaces making up the outward surface of the object. The system then generates flattened patterns by projecting the spatial patterns into a two-dimensional plane. The system prints the flattened patterns on to designated regions of material sheets in an orientation that preserves the design continuity of the object-design. The regions may be extracted from the sheets and then joined at their edges to form a cover for object that exhibits the continuity of the object design.

  • Patent number: 11368222
Abstract: Apparatus and methods are disclosed for communicating between distributed automotive sensors, including radar sensors, wherein sensors transmit a synchronization (SYNC) signal, each SYNC signal transmitted via a substantially equal-length fiber optic link corresponding with each sensor. A central node receives the SYNC signals via the fiber optic links corresponding with each of the sensors and determines a master SYNC signal based on the received SYNC signals. The central node then transmits the master SYNC signal via the fiber optic links to the sensors, which receive the master SYNC signal and transmit, via fiber optic link, sensor data synchronized in accordance with the master SYNC signal. The synchronized sensor data are received at the central node and coherently aggregated, and transmitted to a compute node for post-processing. For radar data, the post-processing may include determination of an angular position of an object within detection range of at least two radar sensors.

  • Publication number: 20220063617
Abstract: A system for adjusting a tractor speed based on a performance of a pickup of a baler comprises a flow rate sensor, a processing element, and a tractor speed controller. The flow rate sensor senses a flow rate of a crop into the pickup and outputs a flow rate signal with a level that varies according to the flow rate of the crop into the pickup. The processing element receives the flow rate signal, receives a speed signal regarding a speed of a tractor pulling the baler, compares the flow rate from the flow rate signal with the speed from the speed signal to generate a comparison result, and outputs an electronic speed signal with a level that varies according to the comparison result. The tractor speed controller is configured to receive the speed signal and adjust a speed of the tractor according to the level of the speed signal.
