Abstract: A window frame and sash combination having an exterior side and an interior side for providing pressure equilization between the window frame and sash on the exterior side thereof comprising a vent and drain channel extending along the inner perimeter of the window frame adjacent the exterior side of the sash, and a rectractable latch plate with detent arm on each side of the sash adjacent the window frame for latching the sash to the frame and for sealing the vent and drain channel.

Abstract: A pivoting and locking device for slidable window or door sash for retaining the window or door sash in engagement with the frame when pivoted out of planar alignment with the frame. A slide block slidably mounted within the frame and pivotally connected to the sash has means for selectively engaging apertures formed in the frame for locking one end of the sash at top and bottom to the frame while permitting the sash to pivot from the frame.

Abstract: A window or door unit is disclosed having means for equalizing air pressure within a window or door sash about the perimeter and front portion of the sash with atmospheric air pressure at the exterior of the sash under high wind conditions to avoid drawing up and accumulation of water within the sash. The structure of the invention comprises the provision of at least one vent opening in the upper portion of the sash on the exterior side of the sash for communication of exterior air with the interior of the sash and equalization of air pressure about the perimeter of the interior of the sash, in communication with at least one exterior water drain hole at the bottom of the sash, with exterior atmospheric air pressure.

Abstract: A window frame assembly includes a frame member having a longitudinally extending channel with a bottom surface and front and rear walls. Each wall has a longitudinally extending recess adjacent to the bottom surface. The window frame assembly also has a plurality of support members for a window unit, the support members being longitudinally spaced along the channel. Each support member rests on the bottom surface of the channel and has front and rear longitudinally extending projections in snapping engagement in the recesses in the front and rear walls of the channel.

Abstract: An eaves troughing assembly includes elongated eaves troughing members of resilient material with generally U-shaped section having a rear portion, base portion and front portion, the front portion of each eaves troughing member having a longitudinally extending recess in a front face at least adjacent an end of the member. Elongated connectors of resilient material with generally U-shaped section have a rear connector portion having an inwardly extending upper free end portion forming a recess between the free end portion and an adjacent part of the rear connector to receive an upper end of the rear portion of an eaves troughing member. The front portion of each connector member has a longitudinally extending projection in a rear face shaped for snapping engagement in the recess of an eaves troughing member.
