  • Patent number: 8863581
Abstract: A digital pressure gauge is configured for coupling with an external fluid pipe, and includes a housing, a pressure sensing unit, a battery seat and a cover. The housing includes an inlet for coupling with the external fluid pipe to permit flow of fluid from the external fluid pipe into the housing. The pressure sensing unit is operable to sense fluid pressure of the fluid flowing through the inlet. The battery seat is disposed in the housing for receiving a battery. The housing is formed with an opening registered with the battery seat to permit placement of the battery in and removal of the battery from the battery seat through the opening. The cover is removably attached to the housing.

  • Publication number: 20120287611
Abstract: A LED flare and system for use at night, in low light conditions or during the day where a lighted object provides greater visibility. The flare comprises a multi-sided housing with a panel on each side and having a top and a base. It has a plurality of LEDs aligned in windows positioned in at least one of the panels. A switch located on the housing operates the flare. The flare also includes a re-chargeable battery encased in the housing for powering the flare and a circuit for delivering power and operational control from the battery to the LEDs upon activation by the switch. A set of contacts positioned on the outside of the housing deliver a charge to the battery. The flare includes an attachment device for holding an external charger in place against the contacts during charging operation. An individual flare may be part of a system that also includes other flares and a carrying case with an integrated charger and charger accessories.

  • Publication number: 20060213632
Abstract: Glass-forming die, such as a parsain-forming or bottle-forming die, includes a die body having a molding surface with a curved contour to form at least a portion of a glass bottle or other article to be made. The die body has one or more cooling passages inside the body wherein the cooling passages is/are non-linear (non-straight) along at least a portion of their length to improve temperature control of the die during the glass forming operation. To this end, the cooling passages are curved in a manner to generally follow the curved contour along at least a portion of the length of the curved contour, and may include heat radiating or turbulating elements in the cooling passage. The glass-forming die alternately, or in addition, can include integral cooling fins, ribs or other heat radiating element on one or more exterior regions of the die.
