Patent number: 12106443Abstract: Techniques for responsive video canvas generation are described to impart three-dimensional effects based on scene geometry to two-dimensional digital objects in a two-dimensional design environment. A responsive video canvas, for instance, is generated from input data including a digital video and scene data. The scene data describes a three-dimensional representation of an environment and includes a plurality of planes. A visual transform is generated and associated with each plane to enable digital objects to interact with the underlying scene geometry. In the responsive video canvas, an edit positioning a two-dimensional digital object with respect to a particular plane of the responsive video canvas is received. A visual transform associated with the particular plane is applied to the digital object and is operable to align the digital object to the depth and orientation of the particular plane. Accordingly, the digital object includes visual features based on the three-dimensional representation.Type: GrantFiled: February 23, 2022Date of Patent: October 1, 2024Assignee: Adobe Inc.Inventors: Cuong D. Publication number: 20220273470Abstract: An electrode assembly for a myoelectric prosthesis allowing at least partial decoupling of the movement of the at least one electrode from the electrode housing case and from the prosthesis socket through the mounting of the at least one electrode using at least one biasing element. This allows the at least one electrode to be forced into contact with the patient in the target area using a moveable pressure application structure reducing/eliminating socket motion artifacts because the pressure is transferred toward the target area but the at least one electrode is not otherwise constrained to minimise or avoid the at least one electrode being dragged across the target area through the mounting to the prosthesis socket which causes socket motion artifacts.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 19, 2022Publication date: September 1, 2022Inventors: Ali Jabran, David Howard, John Head, Laurence Kenney, Michael Prince

Patent number: 10818155Abstract: A device for detecting a being left within a vehicle includes a sensor that detects when a being (e.g. a pet, a child, etc.) is within a vehicle and the operator of the vehicle has moved away from the vehicle by more than, for example five feet. Upon detection of such, the device emits a sound to notify others nearby of the being that was left within the vehicle. The sound is preferably different than a sound of a typical vehicle theft alarm system. In a preferred embodiment, determination that the operator has left the vehicle is by a loss of a signal from a personal transmitter that is attached to the operator's key ring or worn by the operator. After moving away from the vehicle by more than five feet, the signal from the personal transmitter decreases and initiates determination if a being remains within the vehicle.Type: GrantFiled: September 17, 2019Date of Patent: October 27, 2020Assignee: Ancer, LLCInventors: Carol Staninger, Andrew W. Oravecz, John Head, III, Richard Paul Spehr, Suzanne Spehr

Publication number: 20190322448Abstract: A subsea vessel includes an outer layer of non-corrosive material and an inner layer of high-strength material that both corroborate in a subsea environment to withstand external pressure and prevent corrosion. The subsea vessel further includes a cavity surrounded by the inner layer and outer layer for providing storage in and protection from the subsea environment. The cavity is accessible via an opening that extends through the inner layer and the outer layer. The opening can be opened and closed with a cooperating cap that impermeably seals the cavity. The cap may include a number or connection mechanisms for being selectively secured to the opening. In addition, the cap may include a portion formed of a high-strength material and a portion formed of a non-corrosive material.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 17, 2019Publication date: October 24, 2019Inventors: Don Christensen, John Head
