    Abstract: A unitary hockey garment (10) having an outerwear pair of shorts (12) for wearing about a lower trunk area of a wearer having at least one leg portion (14) for wearing about at least an upper portion of a wearer's leg. The leg portion (14) defines an opening (16) wherein the leg of the wearer projects with at least one outerwear legging member (18) adapted to be worn snugly about the leg of the wearer. The legging member (18) being tighter fitting than the fit of the pair of shorts (12) about the lower trunk area of the wearer and is substantially tubular in construction and defines another opening (20) to permit the leg of the wearer to project through. Securement of the legging member (18) to the outerwear pair of shorts (12) is positioned within the leg portion (14) of the outerwear pair of shorts (12).
