  • Publication number: 20200144857
Abstract: The methods and apparatus described enable automatic configuration, or commissioning, of controller devices and load control devices through a low voltage communication network controlled by one or more controller devices. These methods and apparatus further enable expansion of the load control system by connection of additional loads and or load control devices and or controller devices which will reinitialize the low voltage communication network and automatically reconfigure the controller devices and load control devices connected to the network.

  • Publication number: 20200105119
Abstract: An apparatus for protecting an entrance to a protected area comprises a magnetic sensor to measure an ambient magnetic field or gradient within a first zone of sensitivity at a non-magnetic sensor means adapted to detect the presence of objects within a primary detection zone, a signal processing circuit arranged in communication with the magnetic sensor apparatus and non-magnetic sensor apparatus, and a warning device operable by an output signal from the signal processing circuit, the warning device adapted to provide an alarm. The signal processing circuit identifies temporal variations due to the movement of a ferromagnetic object within the ambient magnetic field and correlates them with instances in which the non-magnetic sensor means detects the presence of an object in its detection zone, and causes the alarm to operate in the event that the correlation is indicative of the presence of a ferromagnetic object in the primary detection zone.

  • Patent number: 10500756
Abstract: A process is provided for treating wood products including lumber, plywood and other engineered wood products comprising the steps of applying an aqueous fire-retardant impregnate and applying a coating to the surface of the wood product. In one embodiment, said process confers fire-retardant properties to the wood products sufficient to pass the extended burn test of ASTM E-84. The present invention also provides fire retardant wood products.

  • Publication number: 20190152093
Abstract: The present invention is directed to amine soluble, or solid copper triazole based wood preservative formulations containing certain types of quaternary ammonium compounds, or nonionic sufactants, and the use of these quaternary ammonium compound-, or nonionic surfactant-containing formulations to pressure treat and preserve wood. The addition of the quaternary ammonium compounds, or nonionic surfactants to the wood preservation treatment solutions allows improved penetration of the copper from the solution into wood and reduces the duration of time required to effectively pressure treat the wood with the preservation composition.

  • Publication number: 20190114324
Abstract: One example method includes receiving a hash, inserting the hash into an array of an on-disk hash table that has one or more levels that each include a bundle of one or more arrays, and each of the arrays includes a plurality of hashes, and when the array into which the hash was inserted is full, merging the full array down to the next lower level of the on-disk hash table by appending the full array to a group of one or more arrays residing at the next lower level.

  • Publication number: 20190039656
Abstract: An isolation mount assembly includes a rubber isolator formed to be seated within an aperture in a supported member, with an extension located on an exterior surface of the isolator; and includes a washer containing an aperture corresponding with a location of the extension. The isolator may include a through-hole and an inner sleeve, and be seated within a supported member. A method for temporarily securing a washer to a rubber isolator includes aligning an aperture in the washer to a corresponding securing feature on the isolator, inserting the securing feature through the aperture, pulling a detached end of the securing feature, pushing the washer towards the isolator until it makes contact with the surface of the isolator, and releasing the detached end of the securing feature. An exemplary method may include trimming or deforming an excess part of the extension after releasing the detached end.
