Abstract: Technologies and implementations for a defibrillator electrode having communicative capabilities are generally disclosed.

Abstract: A wave generating system for generating a standing wave is provided, which includes: a wave generating structure having a manipulable portion for adjusting a characteristic of the standing wave; a water supply which supplies a primary flow of water towards the wave generating structure; and a return circuit for redirecting at least some water from a location downstream of the wave generating structure back to the wave generating structure to assist in forming the standing wave.

Abstract: A calorimeter includes a bucket cover which is used to reconfigure an isothermal water reservoir to provide for temperature equilibration prior to sample analysis and subsequently define a fixed volume of water during analysis in which high precision temperature measurements can be recorded. The apparatus includes mechanisms for sealing and controlling the cover, and for coupling the combustion vessel to the cover while minimizing the thermal contact between them. Improved thermal isolation between the fixed volume of water and the surrounding environment is also achieved.

Abstract: An adjustable spring rate pogo stick that incorporates two springs, with different spring rates, in parallel. This two-spring system can produce three different spring rates by allowing the user to engage one spring (first setting), the other spring (second setting) or both springs simultaneously (third setting). This pogo stick will accommodate weights of below 80 pounds to above 250 pounds.
