  • Publication number: 20250100046
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for an event detection system that captures data associated with events while a DC casting system forms an ingot, determines characteristics of the events, and improves the casting system based on the events. Example systems and methods may include initiating a casting operation using one or more pieces of equipment of a casting system including a casting apparatus; capturing sensor data associated with one or more acoustic signals captured relative to the one or more pieces of equipment performing the casting operation; comparing the sensor data with a set of acoustic profiles; determining whether a particular type of event has occurred; causing an adjustment to the casting system or to the casting operation based on whether the particular type of event has occurred; and initiating a second casting operation using the adjusted casting system or casting operation.

  • Publication number: 20240001075
Abstract: Kidney stone removal system is disclosed having components including a handle mechanism. The handle mechanism employs a trigger mechanism that enables control of irrigation and vacuum/suction. Operation of a trigger of the trigger mechanism conveys status of vacuum/suction and irrigation to a user by providing increased resistance at different points of operation. When the trigger is in a home position, irrigation and vacuum/suction are turned off. When the trigger is in a fully activated position, irrigation and vacuum/suction are turned on. When the trigger is in an intermediate position, irrigation may be turned on, while vacuum/suction remains turned off. The handle mechanism can be of a single trigger design with modes including: an active irrigation mode only (i.e., active irrigation on/vacuum off) and an active irrigation mode in combination with a vacuum mode (i.e., active irrigation on/vacuum on).

  • Patent number: 11400145
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to a population of stem cells (e.g., iPSCs or HSCs) that comprise nucleic acids encoding a T cell receptor and a chimeric antigen receptor directed to multiple distinct antigenic determinants, for example two distinct tumour antigenic determinants. The present invention is also directed to a population of T cells that co-express a T cell receptor and a chimeric antigen receptor directed to multiple distinct antigenic determinants, such as two distinct tumour antigenic determinants. The cells of the present invention can be derived from chosen donors whose HLA type is compatible with significant sectors of the populations, and are useful in a wide variety of applications, in particular in the context of the therapeutic treatment of neoplastic conditions.

  • Patent number: 11379771
Abstract: When a user of an interface system defines a workflow, the interface system transmits a notification to a user that is to perform the first step of the workflow. When the user requests to initiate the step of the workflow, the interface system creates a transaction for the workflow step. The user signs the transaction using a cryptographic key pair. The interface system receives the signed transaction and verifies the signature. Once the signature is verified, the step can be performed. The interface system forwards the transaction to a data storage system for storing. For performing the next step in the workflow, the data storage system identifies the user that is to perform the next workflow step. The data storage system creates a notification that identifies the user and the notification is provided to the user. The process repeats until each step of the workflow is performed.

  • Patent number: 11111762
Abstract: This disclosure provides a dissolvable sealing joint system that can be used in an improved method of sealing a multi-lateral well junction. The sealing joint system is comprised of a dissolvable junction subassembly that can be easily removed after a sealing operation is conducted. A tapered end of the dissolvable junction subassembly is inserted in a liner of a secondary wellbore, and a seal located about the tapered end is sealed against the top of the liner and a no-go shoulder of dissolvable junction subassembly. Once a seal is established, an isolation fluid is pumped into the junction area via a fluid port located in the dissolvable junction subassembly. A method of isolating a wellbore junction is also presented.
