  • Patent number: 11925653
Abstract: Novel antimicrobial compositions comprise at least a form of a fosfomycin (or suitable analogs, or derivatives thereof), and at least one sulfonamide (or suitable analogs, or derivatives thereof), and/or at least one diaminopyridine (or suitable analogs, or derivatives thereof). Said antimicrobial compositions generally include two or more of said components as a novel combination, provided in a single combination or formulation, or provided independently with overlapping exposures of the two or more components. These novel compositions, when provided as the two or more components, are effective against susceptible microorganisms, and are effective against susceptible drug-resistant microorganisms (e.g., bacteria, parasites), including multi-drug resistant bacteria.

  • Publication number: 20150214806
Abstract: A location and retention component is provided for positively locating an overspeed guard and retaining a centrifugal actuator at an optimum positional relationship relative to each other. The system includes a first and second retention element removably engagable to the output shaft of a motor and axially fixable to the shaft at corresponding locations to maintain the optimum positional relationship. The first retention element serves as a positive stop for assembling the overspeed guard on the motor shaft, while the second retention element ensures that the centrifugal actuator is properly placed within the overspeed guard.

  • Publication number: 20070296288
Abstract: A hermetic motor includes a stator having at least one winding formed by a winding wire, and an on-winding motor protector having at least one contact. To improve the reliability and reduce the cost of the hermetic motor, the winding wire is directly coupled (without a lead wire) to the motor protector contact. Additionally, a common wire extending from the motor protector to a cluster block (if applicable) can be the same type of wire as the winding wire.

  • Publication number: 20060217823
Abstract: Embodiments described herein relate to techniques, tools and processes for analyzing a computer system and determining the type and capabilities of hardware and software components resident on the computer system. This information can then be used for multiple different purposes. For example, the information may be used for (1) communicating an individual computer's ability to effectively operate a specific computer software and/or computer hardware product, (2) relaying the information to a technical support operation to allow a more rapid response, or (3) making a simple evaluation of the stand alone performance of a computer. These processes can be used for analyzing an individual computer's system inventory (computer hardware components and system software components) against a static set of manufacturer validated requirements for a hardware or software product.

  • Publication number: 20010047340
Abstract: A method and apparatus for insuring authenticity for consumer goods as well as products transferred to another party. In one embodiment, a record of authenticity is provided with a good at the point of manufacture. The record of authenticity includes an item code and a registration number unique to the good. An internet database stores the authenticity data. Once an article or good is purchased, the owner of the article accesses the database and is forwarded a second registration number which is different from the initial registration number provided at the point of manufacture. The owner may register as a legitimate owner of authentic goods by entering the new registration number and item code as well as other information. This information is stored in the internet database for the good in issue. The system also provides for insuring that any good transferred in title to a second party is an authentic article and also lists information for this party relative to the article.
