  • Publication number: 20240120736
Abstract: A control system may include a direct-current (DC) power bus for charging (e.g., trickle charging) internal energy storage elements in control devices of the control system. For example, the control devices may be motorized window treatments configured to adjust a position of a covering material to control the amount of daylight entering a space. The system may include a DC power supply that may generate a DC voltage on the DC power bus. For example, the DC power bus may extend from the DC power supply around the perimeter of a floor of the building and may be connected to all of the motorized window treatments on the floor (e.g., in a daisy-chain configuration). Wiring the DC power bus in such a manner may dramatically reduce the installation labor and wiring costs of an installation, as well as decreasing the chance of a miswire.

  • Publication number: 20240066743
Abstract: A chainsaw chain includes a plurality of drive links, a plurality of cutters, and a plurality of rivets. Each drive link includes a drive link body, a rivet hole extending through the drive link body, and a tang configured to engage a drive element of a chainsaw. Each cutter includes a cutter body having a rivet hole extending therethrough, a cutting tooth coupled to an upper portion of the cutter body, a carbide cutting tip coupled to the cutting tooth, a feed limiter coupled to the upper portion of the cutter body and spaced from the cutting tooth, and a gullet defined between the cutting tooth and the feed limiter. The plurality of rivets is received within corresponding rivet holes of the plurality of drive links and the plurality of cutters, to couple the plurality of drive links and the plurality of cutters together.

  • Publication number: 20240066744
Abstract: A chainsaw chain includes a plurality of drive links, a plurality of cutters, and a plurality of rivets. Each drive link includes a drive link body, a pair of rivet holes extending through the drive link body, and a tang extending from the drive link body and configured to engage a drive element of a chainsaw. Each cutter includes a cutter body having a pair of rivet holes extending therethrough, a cutting tooth coupled to an upper portion of the cutter body, a feed limiter, and a gullet. The cutter body defines a longitudinal axis extending through the pair of rivet holes and a vertical axis oriented perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. The cutting tooth is set relative to the vertical axis. The plurality of rivets couples the plurality of drive links and the plurality of cutters together.

  • Patent number: 4705476
Abstract: This invention pertains to a method and apparatus to fabricate economical dentures for edentulous dental patients comprising attaching full arch unitary upper and lower sets of artificial teeth to denture base material and fabricated by a process developed for the purpose of utilizing these sets of teeth and converting them into finished upper and lower dentures by the use of a specialized apparatus comprising part of the invention. The process eliminates the conventional procedure of mounting individual artificial teeth in the normal process of fabricating dentures. Dentures are also disclosed formed from individual teeth but employing a novel tacking procedure to facilitate alignment and orientation of the teeth.

  • Patent number: 4650418
Abstract: A new type of dental prosthetic facing and a new method of preparation of dental prosthetic facings is disclosed. The dental prosthetic facing is provided with an outer shader layer, an intermediate at least substantially uncolored, translucent layer, and an opaque substructure color keyed with the shader layer to match a shade guide. The opaque substructure may be a metal support with a surface opaquing agent in one species. The dental prosthetic facing may be prepared by removably mounting an intermediate uncolored translucent layer that is a crown on a color keyed opaque substructure that is a dental mount. The dental mount being matched to an opaque dental cement that will mount the finished shaded dental crown.

  • Patent number: 4609351
Abstract: A dental articulator comprising upper and lower bows connected by vertical support members, the upper bow being pivotally connected to the support members for raising and lowering relative to a planar mounting table which is positionable between the bows and parallel to the lower bow, the mounting table having a mounting bar extending perpendicularly from one surface and the mounting table being reversible to dispose a desired surface thereof uppermost and the table also having a supporting pin detachably connected to the forward end thereof for reversible positioning to extend from either surface of the table, and the upper bow also having adjustable pivot means operable selectively to effect lateral movement of the upper bow relative to the table and lower bow when in one position of adjustment but only permit pivotal movement when in a second position.
