Abstract: A golf club has a first shaft coupled to a club head, a second shaft configured to slidably engage a portion of the first shaft, a grip coupled to the second shaft, and an adjustable length shaft assembly received by the second shaft and configured to allow a portion of the first shaft to slide in relation to the second shaft in a first configuration, and to restrict a portion of the first shaft from sliding in relation to the second shaft in a second configuration. The grip is restricted from rotation about the first shaft or the second shaft as the first shaft slides in relation to the second shaft.

Abstract: A child resistant cigarette lighter is disclosed of the type employing a liquid reservoir of ignitable fluid, a friction wheel and flint for providing a spark and a user controlled valve for beginning and ending the flow of gaseous fuel to be ignited by the spark. The child resistant features include the location of the user controlled valve operator at a point on the reservoir body which is difficult if not impossible for a child to simultaneously operate the valve operator and the thumb wheel with a single hand.

Abstract: A gas lighter is formed by a head assembly which incorporates all of the valving, regulation and ignition functions and is slidably and detachably connected to a fuel cartridge having a valve assembly through which the head assembly is fluidly coupled to the fuel supply. The fuel cartridge may be stored indefinitely apart from the head assembly, and may be either disposed of and replaced, or refilled, when its fuel is exhausted.
