    Abstract: An article of furniture is provided which is readily assembleable with a minimum of parts and tools, and yet provides a neat, finished appearance. The furniture article includes at least one rigid elongate connector bracket interposed between at least one side panel and a top panel, the connector bracket including separate portions which fixedly secure the side panel to the top panel. The top panel and side panel form a groove-like seam therebetween which the connector bracket covers to provide a neat finished appearance. In one embodiment, the furniture article includes snap-lock.
