  • Publication number: 20240117011
Abstract: Disclosed are monoclonal antibodies, antigen binding fragments, and bi-specific antibodies that specifically bind a coronavirus spike protein, such as SARS-CoV-2. Also disclosed is the use of these antibodies for inhibiting a coronavirus infection, such as a SARS-CoV-2 infection. In addition, disclosed are methods for detecting a coronavirus, such as SARS-CoV-2, in a biological sample, using the disclosed antibodies.

  • Publication number: 20100297527
Abstract: Composite electrolyte materials include composites comprising 8YSZ in a range of 50-95%, balance 3YSZ. Either the 8YSZ or the 3YSZ can be substituted with a composition having the general formula A1-x-yBxCy where: A=Zr0.84Y0.16O2; B=at least one of the following: Zr1-xDxO2 where: D=at least one of the group Mg, Ca, Sc, and Y, and x=0.03 to 0.16; and Ce1-xRExO2 where: RE=at least one rare-earth element and x=0.05 to 0.20; C=Al2O3 where y=0 to 0.20. The composite electrolyte materials are useful in solid state electrochemical devices such as solid oxide fuel cells and electrolyzers.

  • Patent number: 5956831
Abstract: An improved forcing tool for extracting a cylindrical article from a socket includes a frame having front and rear walls; a screw threadingly engaging the rear wall in alignment with a recess that extends through the front wall; and a collet removably rotatable on the screw for gripping and extracting the article. The collet has a body with a forwardly facing cavity, a plurality of cylindrical pockets in side walls of the cavity; gripping wedges in respective ones of the pockets, the pockets and outside surfaces of the wedge cylindrical portions being inclined for drawing the wedges together in response to forward movement thereof relative to the body; and a set screw threadingly engaging the body and projecting inwardly against one of the wedges for adjusting a spacing of the wedges. The improvement includes a rigid retainer fastened to the body for rigidly limiting axial movement of the wedges by contact with the leg portions.

  • Patent number: 5678795
Abstract: A device useful for displaying clip strips having a plurality of individual products thereon and having both a hole and a slot. The device engages a shelf having a plurality of holes on its top surface. The device includes an elongated body having a shelf engaging end and an outer terminal end extending from the shelf. The shelf engaging end includes a pair of spaced apart tabs extending away from the body configured to engage a pair of shelf holes and present a flat surface against the underside of the shelf. The tabs including a flange for mounting the tabs on the body and providing a surface of engagement for contact with the top surface of the shelf. Located proximate the outer terminal end of the body is a platform for supporting at least two hooks extending both out from the body to space the product from the body and upward for engaging products.

  • Patent number: 5651669
Abstract: A luminaria kit which includes a luminaria bag, ballast, a candle, and a container having an interior volume for holding the ballast to stabilize the container. The container has a flat bottom for positioning the bag, with the container inside, on a surface. The container has a top having at least a portion thereof in a plane generally parallel to the surface on which the container is placed. A port is located on the container for sealingly adding ballast thereto. The candle is mounted to the container by inserting it into a candle mount that is located on the portion of the top. The mount includes a plurality of concentric circular rings extending into the interior of the container to form a plurality of ring like steps having a progressively smaller diameters as the steps extend further therein. In a preferred embodiment, the candle mount includes at least three ring like steps, each having the same general depth into the container.

  • Patent number: 5178451
Abstract: A hollow plastic container for holding water and a candle for use in a luminaria comprises a bottom wall, a top wall, four side walls extending between the bottom wall and the top wall, and a candle securing member for securing the candle in an upright position in the container, the candle securing member including a well formed in the bottom wall into which the candle is inserted, the top wall having an opening above and aligned with the well to permit the candle to be inserted into the well, to permit the candle to extend from the container, and to permit insertion of water into the container. In use, the flame of the candle is automatically extinguished when the candle burns down to the point where the water held in the container contacts the flame.

  • Patent number: 4416058
Abstract: Apparatus for forming coils of magnet wire and for inserting that magnet wire along the insulating wedges into the core of a stator comprises a transfer tool of circumferentially disposed wedge guides which receives wedges at a wedging station, is wound with coils of magnet wire by a push winding technique at a winding station, and then moves to an insertion station wherein the windings and wedges are pushed into a stator core. The wedge guides are designed to hold the wedges during the winding operation and also to receive the coils being formed as wire is pushed out of a nozzle rotating over the transfer tool. The coils fall by gravity between predetermined pairs of wedge guides. Finger elements are then inserted upwardly through the bore of the transfer tool. An empty stator core is placed on the finger elements, and the formed coils and wedges are pushed from the transfer tool into the stator core.
