    Abstract: Road or pavement surfacing machine which is towed to and from a work site by a truck tractor or the like and is self-propelled by power driven traction wheels on the machine during road or pavement surfacing operation. The traction wheels and the road or pavement surfacing cutter means of the machine are independently vertically adjustable relative to the main load supporting wheels of the machine, and hence relative to one another, by hydraulic actuator means for the cutter means and additional hydraulic actuator means for the traction wheels.
