According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, a runtime extension framework architecture may have an event manager for identifying and coordinating handling of events. The architecture may have two or more event handlers. Some event handlers may be dedicated to handling events associated with interfacing with an application program interface and some of the internal event handlers handle events as directed by the event manager.
