  • Patent number: 7604270
Abstract: A can holder assembly has an interior section. The assembly is positionable adjacent to the side wall of a can and a laterally spaced exterior section. Lower and upper portions couple the sections. The interior portion has a vertical free edge positionable in contact with the side wall of a can. The can has upper and lower ledges. A lower retainer is fixedly coupled to the interior section beneath the lower ledge. An upper retainer is pivotally coupled to the interior section above the lower ledge. A handle has a pivot pin pivotally supported above the upper portion of the handle. The handle has inner and outer ends. The inner end supports the upper retainer. The outer end is adapted to be manipulated by a user. A spring is provided between the upper portion and the handle. The spring urges the outer end upwardly and the upper retainer downwardly.

  • Patent number: 6336623
Abstract: Multiple upright adjacent posts spaced apart are each pivotably mounted on a first base plate affixed along an edge of a precipice. The posts have bores through opposed sides and L-shaped brackets mounted on at least one side surface. A triangular brace has a second base plate spaced inwardly from the post. Two arms converging inwardly distal from the second base plate connect ends of the second base plate to the post. The arms pivot with respect to the second base plate. Ropes are threaded through the bores or 2×4's are mounted on the L-brackets or mesh is hung on the L-brackets to create a barrier between the spaced apart posts.

  • Patent number: 4074832
Abstract: A food dispenser including a relatively large hopper for holding a supply of dry or granular type food, and a downwardly tapering section leading to a manually movable control door which dispenses a predetermined quantity of the food. Attached to the control door, and actuated thereby, are a plurality of intermeshing pegs, movable in the tapering section, to break up dry products which have a tendency to stick or pack together, thereby always assuring that the control door will dispense an accurate amount.

  • Patent number: 3956726
Abstract: A heat detecting conductor embodied in a flat tape wherein conductive strips in an open circuit are separated, at acceptable temperatures, by thermoplastic insulating material which is adapted to melt at predetermined elevated temperatures and to permit the conductive strips to come into contact with each other, thereby closing the electric circuit and actuating an audible and/or visual alarm. The heat detecting conductor may be associated with a cable carrying one or more service lines or with a cable connected to one or more heat detecting devices, as a back-up therefor, or may be used alone.
