  • Patent number: 11938487
Abstract: A foam glass aggregate slicing and reduction machine and system which rapidly, effectively, and economically reduces large pieces of aggregate to required sizes with minimal powdery waste. The machine comprises a foam glass aggregate collection chute having a bottom outlet section for discharging foam glass aggregate onto a holdbar located adjacent to the outlet section. A rotating roller supports a plurality of rotating roller knives which slices large pieces of foam glass aggregate to reduce the aggregate to fragments, with minimal powdery waste. A foam glass aggregate guide member directs foam glass aggregate towards the rotating roller. A foam glass aggregate filtering bar having rows of intervening spaces is located below the guide member and adjacent to the rotating roller.

  • Patent number: 7452163
Abstract: A process for stabilizing chromium in a chromite ore processing residue (COPR) comprises the steps of adding an acid to consume the excess alkalinity of the COPR, resulting in a pH of less than 10; and adding a chemical reductant to the COPR to convert any hexavalent chromium present to trivalent chromium. A source of sulfate may be added to the COPR to reduce heave potential and improve its geotechnical stability. Treated COPR may be encapsulated in a material suitable to prevent contact between the COPR and water, such as an asphalt.

  • Patent number: 5904103
Abstract: A pallet is made of corrugated material having two horizontal, upper and lower deck members. The deck members are substantially parallel to one another. The deck members are separated along their length by a center support member, two vertical side support, stringer members, and at least three separate internal members, or runners, that support the entire length of the top horizontal member. Two of the runners form a center support, and two of the runners form diagonal supports. Each diagonal support member forms a leg of an isosceles triangle with each vertical side support stringer member forming the other leg. The diagonal support members give added strength to the pallet and assist in distributing the load placed upon the pallet.
