  • Publication number: 20150243133
Abstract: A method, apparatus and system are used to provide funds to a player. A PED is provided with an app sending a communication to a funding establishment that supports a financial card. The communication contains data identifying a) a specific financial card and a specific account established at a gaming facility where the gaming apparatus is located and b) amounts of funds to be applied against the financial card and transferred to the specific financial account. The specific financial account electronically transfers funds for available use by the player upon command by the player to the specific financial account. The player profile database is mainly player inputted preferences and gaming trends data stored into each player's profile. These can be accessed/verified with recognition of the player's phone, biometric scan, access card, password, or other terminal kiosk, touch screen, or mobile application.

  • Patent number: 6056675
Abstract: An exercise device particularly adapted for an isometric workout of lower body muscles includes a seating plate. Releasably attached to a front wall of the seating plate is a fixed bar. Then, pivotally attached respectively to top and bottom ends of the fixed bar are inner ends of upper and lower movable support members. On an outer end of the upper support member is a fastener. This fastener includes a pin for selective insertion in one of a set of spaced apart holes in an outer end of the lower support member to join the member ends. Finally, a sleeve-type fastener of a leg engaging member is slidably disposed on the upper support member. Leg engaging member positioning is secured by a further pin insertable in one of a set of holes in an outer end of the upper support member. The leg engaging member includes a pair of padded ends piece spaced apart by a transversely positioned middle padded piece. Contact discs of the end pieces abut the middle padded piece.

  • Patent number: 5734999
Abstract: A safety device comprising a floor drain grate includes at least two separate regions, and preferably three, with openings through which water can flow into a pool drain. The regions are preferably spaced to either side of the pool drain, by a distance which effectively prevents a swimmer from blocking all the openings at once and becoming stuck to the grate by suction. The floor drain grate may be provided as a retrofit to replace an existing drain grate of a pool.

  • Patent number: 4570156
Abstract: A work station is designed for use with electronic equipment whereby the placement of the equipment in the work station prevents undesired electromagnetic coupling between various pieces of the electronic equipment. A substantially horizontal work surface is provided between a cabinet at one end and a safe at the other end. The cabinet provides a Faraday cage for receiving a MODEM and for preventing the passage of electromagnetic radiation, whereby undesired coupling between the MODEM and other pieces of electronic equipment is substantially precluded. The safe is designed to house an encryption device. A horizontal work surface supports electronic input equipment, such as a word processor, in position for convenient use by an operator. The electronic equipment on the work surface is connected to the encryption device in the safe which is, in turn, connected to a modulator-demodulator (MODEM) in the cabinet.
