  • Patent number: 6005236
Abstract: A sun-following solar panel stand that includes a frame, a hollow box, rotating and pivoting apparatus, first, second, and third light apparatus, comparing apparatus, and combination determining and comparing apparatus. The frame is horizontally rotatively mountable to a surface and the hollow box is vertically pivotally mounted to the frame. The rotating apparatus rotates the frame as the sun traverses horizontally and the pivoting apparatus pivots the hollow box as the sun traverses vertically. The first light apparatus provide a first light apparatus output responsive to the horizontal position of the sun. The second light apparatus provide a second light apparatus output responsive to the vertical position of the sun. The third light apparatus provide a third light apparatus output responsive to the general position of the sun.

  • Patent number: 5628897
Abstract: A water pacifier that includes a hollow and rectangular parallelpipedly-shaped collection chamber, a hollow, vertically oriented and cylindrically-shaped purifying chamber, a circular-shaped filter, an electric heater coil, and a bimetallic strip. The collection chamber collects purified water. The purifying chamber purifies water to be collected in the collection chamber. The filter filters the water being purified in the purifying chamber. The electric heater coil boils the water filtered by the filter. Also, the bimetallic strip selectively opens and closes a centrally-disposed throughbore in a fiat and horizontally-oriented bottom of the purifying chamber in response to the temperature of the purified water it is in contact with, so that when the water boiled by the heater coil reaches 210 degrees F.

  • Patent number: 5565096
Abstract: A natural filter for ecological systems is provided. The apparatus includes a rock medium container for holding rocks for filtering life, means for circulating water, means for floating the apparatus, and means for supplying sunlight to the filtering life and the normally unreachable depths of water. This natural filter maintains a healthful environment for aquatic creatures by providing means to naturally circulate and cleanse the water thus encouraging biological growth and preventing the eutrophication of that body of water.

  • Patent number: 5501622
Abstract: A marine mammal guard for an outboard motor having a drive shaft housing, an anti-cavitation plate, a lower support unit, a gear casing, a skeg and a propeller hub with a plurality of propeller blades radially thereabout. The guard comprises a protective housing having a pair of forward intake ports and a rearward exit port. A mechanism is provided for securing the protective housing to the lower support unit. The protective housing will extend about the gear casing, the propeller hub and propeller blades below and parallel to the anti-cavitation plate and above the skeg, so as to prevent animals and other objects also submerged within water from coming into contact with the propeller blades of the outboard motor.

  • Patent number: 5482295
Abstract: A drawing game board comprising a cover board which is fastened to a drawing board by mating hook and loop pile fastener material. The surface of the drawing board which is hidden by the cover board is made of erasable marker board. The cover board has six doors, which, when opened, reveal portions of the erasable marker board underneath. Drawing game boards are distributed to each of six players. Each player draws part of a body on his drawing board and then passes his board on to the next participant who will then draw the next body part without being able to see what the first participant drew. Thus in round robin fashion the participants will draw an entire body, and, at the end of the game, the drawings will be displayed in full for a few laughs. This game is designed to instruct young children in drawing the parts of the human body while amusing them.
