  • Patent number: 9512969
Abstract: A lamp fixture includes a light emitting diode supported on a front surface of a printed circuit board. A reflector and heat sink includes a rear surface disposed adjacent the front surface of the printed circuit board and an opposing reflective surface defining a reflector dish. An aperture through the reflector and heat sink allows the light emitting diode to extend from the printed circuit board into the reflector dish. An epoxy lens is disposed over and seals the reflector surface and the light emitting diode. A assembly including a base and an inner casing extending from the base supports the printed circuit board and the reflector and heat sink. An outer casing encloses the inner casing and includes an aperture for outputting light transmitted through the epoxy lens from the light emitting diode and the reflective surface.

  • Patent number: 7670129
Abstract: Gypsum boards are bent to curved shape by placing a water dampened flat rectangular gypsum board upon a resiliently bendable panel positioned below a bender shell having a wall of arcuate cylindric contour which grips a margin of the gypsum board, and rolling the bender shell upon the gripped board to produce bending. A circular cylindrical weight rolls within the bender shell to apply compressive force upon the gypsum board during the bending process.

  • Patent number: 5965708
Abstract: Gluten protein-based biodegradable or edible films are produced using aqueous, essentially alcohol-free casting dispersions containing modified protein (preferably wheat gluten protein) and a plasticizer. The modified protein is prepared by treating purified naturally occurring wheat protein with a reducing agent (e.g., sodium metabisulfite) in order to reduce the average molecular weight of the wheat protein and to cleave disulfide bonds therein. Such modified wheat gluten protein lowers the viscosity and allows increased solid contents in the casting dispersions, allowing fabrication of improved films using continuous casting techniques and without use of organic solvents.
