  • Publication number: 20240116638
Abstract: An aircraft includes external structures, and one or more thermal emitters integrated with one or more of the external structures. The one or more thermal emitters are configured to generate heat to deice the one or more external structures. The one or more thermal emitters are configured to receive electrical power from one or more of an auxiliary power unit of the aircraft, a power distribution system of the aircraft, one or more engines of the aircraft, or an external power cart that is separate and distinct from the aircraft.

  • Publication number: 20240071203
Abstract: The present invention relates to an automatic unconscious alert device that is preferably a mobile application for a smart device comprised of a motion detection system that sends an alert if a user is detected as motionless for a specific time interval that can be selected by a user. Before the alert is sent to at least one secondary user chosen by the first user, a reset system may be activated which may allow the user to reset the motion detection system and prevent the sending of the alert if it is erroneous.

  • Patent number: 11821506
Abstract: A motor gearbox system includes a motor. The system further includes a mount configured to couple to the motor. The system also includes a housing configured to couple to the mount, and a coupler configured to couple to the housing, the coupler having at least one mounting feature configured to couple to a component. The system further includes a gear system operably coupled to the motor and configured to be disposed, at least in part, within a gearbox formed by the coupled mount, housing and coupler. The system includes an output shaft operably coupled to the gear system.

  • Publication number: 20230149780
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to the field of rackets. More specifically, the present invention relates to racket device. The device is primarily comprised of frame with at least one string, a handle, and at least one grommet. The device has at least one angled string area that has at least one string that is received by the grommet. Said angled string area does not sit in plane with the frame and other strings of the device. Due to the angled positioning of the angled string area, a ball is prevented from hitting the frame of the device, thereby preventing mishits.

  • Patent number: 7689358
Abstract: A system and method is provided for establishing a substantially delta-V-free three-dimensional atomic satellite cloud cluster. In one embodiment, a satellite cloud cluster system comprises a plurality of satellites maintaining a three-dimensional periodic motion relative to a reference point. The plurality of satellites and the reference point maintain an orbital pattern around a celestial body. The three-dimensional periodic motion is symmetrical about at least two planes that intersect at the reference point.

  • Publication number: 20050250993
Abstract: A speculum for the insertion and expanding of a body cavity. The speculum comprises a plurality of blades pivotally connected around a ring-shaped frame, the first ends thereof extending longitudinally and meeting at a point distant from the frame to form a generally bulbous end and the second ends which are manipulated to rotate the blades about the frame. A rotating action of the second ends causes the first ends to angularly move away from each other to expand the bulbous end, and hence the body cavity. A series of block pivotally attached to the frame interact with the second ends to form a ratcheting locking means to lock the blades at certain positions between a closed position and an open position.
