Abstract: A recessed light fixture is provided with a movable junction box. The light fixture has a frame for supporting a lamp housing and lamp socket. A plurality of connection areas are also provided along the frame. A junction box is removably attached to any one of the connection areas using a connection piece.

Abstract: A recessed light fixture is provided with vertically extending mounting tracks integrally formed in opposed sidewalls of a light fixture housing. The mounting tracks have a continuous front face. The recessed light fixture also has a lamp support bar that extends between the mounting tracks and has at least one spring clip proximal each end thereof. Each at least one spring clip frictionally engages the front face of a corresponding of the mounting tracks, thereby allowing the lamp support bar to be temporarily affixed at a desired vertical orientation along the mounting tracks.

Abstract: A shatter glass guard and venting effect design for a fixture of a luminaire adapted to provide adequate shatter guard protection for the purpose of preventing glass from a broken lamp from being released from the fixture. An annular ring of perforated material is attached to an open end of a reflector. A lens is attached to the outside surface of the annular ring and is dimensioned to expose a portion of the perforated material to allow for venting of heat from within the fixture. The lens and lamp can be installed or removed from the fixture after installation without access from the top of the light housing. The lens when mounted becomes integral with the reflector and moves with the reflector should the reflector need to be adjusted or tilted for aiming. The lens and annular ring combination provides adequate shatter guard protection and venting of the fixture.

Abstract: A quick attachment junction box is provided that simplifies the installation of electrical wires into the junction box and minimizes the tools and parts necessary for proper installation. A connection element is provided to allow for quick connection of electrical wires, and frictional contact from detachably connected upper and lower casings of the junction box provide strain relief for any connected wires, when the upper and lower casings are secured in their closed position. Additionally, a wire capture sleeve is provided that can electrically isolate the connection element and maintain the connection element in place.

Abstract: A track lighting system which supports compact fluorescent lamp fixtures removably attached to a track member by a track adaptor. Compact fluorescent lamp fixture depends from a track adaptor by an adjustable suspended cable. Suspended cable provides electricity and mechanical support to a compact fluorescent socket and lamp. The track adaptor may also accommodate line voltage fixtures and allows a user to adjust the suspended cable by cutting the cable, stripping internal cable wires, then inserting internal wires into the track adaptor cavities and securing with securing screws.

Abstract: The invention provides a lighting fixture for a sloped ceiling comprising an enclosure, an optics assembly situated within the enclosure, and at least one gravity-controlled pendulum with an indicator capable of being used to align the optics assembly. The lighting fixture further comprises a yoke assembly comprising a yoke and a secondary support piece, and at least one connector that guides the movement of the yoke.
