The method includes the steps of receiving an acoustically transmitted signal; and decoding the signal using, at least, a first plurality of voters to extract the data. The first plurality of voters comprise differing values for a first acoustic characteristic to address interference. A system and software are also disclosed.

Abstract: In some implementations, a user device may receive one or more first advertisements from one or more first beacons. Accordingly, the user device may exchange check-in messages with a remote device based on the one or more first advertisements. The user device may track a location using at least one or more signal strengths associated with the one or more first beacons and one or more signal strengths associated with one or more second beacons. The user device may further display and update a map based on tracking the location. The user device may receive one or more second advertisements from the one or more second beacons. Accordingly, the user device may request first information associated with the one or more second beacons that is different from second information associated with one or more third beacons. The user device may further display the first information.

Abstract: A method of forming a composite part is described and includes connecting a layup form tool to a vacuum source; overlaying a release film on a surface of the layup form tool; engaging the vacuum source to affix the release film to the surface of the layup form tool using vacuum pressure; overlaying at least one sheet of composite material on the release film affixed to the surface of the layup form tool to form the composite part; and removing the formed composite part from the layup form tool.

Abstract: An apparatus and a method are used for measuring a sample. The apparatus includes a crystal having at least one face in direct contact with the sample, at least one light source emitting and directing at least a first light beam and a second light beam into the same crystal such that the first light beam and the second light beam are totally internally reflected at the interface between the crystal and the sample, and at least one detector detecting the first light beam and the second light beam which have been totally internally reflected at the interface. The first light beam travels along a first optical path in the crystal and the second light beam travels along a second optical path in the crystal, and the first optical path is different from the second optical path in optical property.

Abstract: Displaying visual indications of one or more files that are associated with a file being viewed via an augmented reality headset may be facilitated. In some embodiments, an image of a file being viewed by a user may be received. The system may determine whether a file is associated with a first error indicating an inconsistency between the file and one or more other files related to the file. Based on determining that the file is associated with the first error, the system may retrieve, based on one or more file identifiers corresponding to the one or more other files, one or more other files associated with the inconsistency. The system may then generate for display (i) a visual indicator indicating the first error and (ii) one or more visual indications of the one or more other files associated with the inconsistency.

A capsule body and a lid (110) of the beverage capsule (101) together define an internal volume for containing beverage ingredients. A peripheral flange (105) of the capsule body comprises or consists of a thermoplastic polymer, the peripheral flange prior to sealing with the lid having a flat receiving surface (106). The lid (110) also comprises a thermoplastic polymer. The lid (110) is sealed to the peripheral flange (105) to form a first peripheral seal able to withstand pressurisation of the internal volume during use. The first peripheral seal comprises a weld between the thermoplastic polymer of the capsule body and the thermoplastic polymer of the lid (110). Abstract: The present disclosure describes a system including a support structure configured to provide support for various orbital welding components. The system also includes an orbital weld head body attached to the support structure. The orbital weld head body is made of a thermally conductive material and includes at least one cooling bar that spans at least a portion of the length of the orbital weld head body. The cooling bar includes various internal cooling channels to route coolant through the cooling bar of the orbital weld head body. The orbital weld head body also includes at least one pressurized fluid input line that attaches to the internal cooling channels of the cooling bar and conducts a fluid coolant to the internal cooling channels of the cooling bar. Abstract: The “Pincer Paddle” is a novel racquet for use in any suitable sport but especially for table tennis. It allows a player to hit the ball with both the front and back sides of the paddle blade on the both the forehand and backhand, when driving, pushing or smashing. Since a player is allowed to use different rubbers on the front and back of the paddle this can make it easier to add spin to the ball or handle the spin put on the ball by the other player depending on which rubber is selected. The ergonomic design allows a player to make these shots over a greater range of angles even when reaching or when close to the body.

Abstract: The disclosed technology relates to assessing and securing credit risk using credit worthiness tokens issued in a blockchain network responsive to particular financial events. An exemplary blockchain node device may store an issuance smart contract associated with an identity and including a first wallet address and allocation parameters. An event query may be sent to an oracle device external to the blockchain network. The event query may include the identity. Event data associated with the identity may then be received from the oracle device in response to the event query. A number of credit worthiness tokens is determined based on an application of the allocation parameters to the event data. The determined number of credit worthiness tokens is then allocated to the identity via the first wallet address. Thereafter, the credit worthiness tokens can be transferred or collateralized, e.g., and can represent credit worthiness for the identity across financial institutions.

Abstract: Providing an open interface to a navigation system is provided herein. A single partition (or more than one partition) of a partitioned operating system can be utilized to provide connectivity between a navigation system and one or more user equipment devices. Thus, the navigation system and the one or more user equipment devices can be communicatively coupled via the at least one partition. Further, a Software Development Kit (SDK) can be configured to enable bi-directional communication between the navigation system and the one or more user equipment devices. In addition, the SDK can provide security for the navigation system when communicating with the one or more user equipment devices.

The support surface can be formed in an RV over a pass-through storage compartment having exterior access. Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for presenting user specific information based on mobile device proximity to short-range wireless technology beacons. For example, by determining the proximity of a mobile device to a short-range wireless technology beacon, user specific information may be displayed on a user interface such that a user may have easy access to user specific information without the need to rely on their mobile device for such access, thereby conserving mobile device battery life and improving the experience of the user.
