  • Publication number: 20210076665
Abstract: A sealed diaphragm game call for efficiently calling and attracting wild animals. The sealed diaphragm game call generally includes a call base with an upper surface, a rigid frame, and a diaphragm, which, together, forms a diaphragm call assembly. The game call may also comprise a custom-molded sealant portion. The sealed diaphragm game call is a custom-fit game call that may be made by applying a curable sealant to the upper surface of the call base, inserting the call base in a user's mouth, pressing the call base toward the roof of the user's mouth, and holding the call base in position against the roof of the user's mouth until the curable sealant has cured. After curing, the sealant is bonded to the diaphragm call assembly, and specifically, the upper surface of the call base and the upper surface of the rigid frame.

  • Patent number: 10296128
Abstract: Systems and techniques are provided for a multi-state press and hold user interface. A state visualization may be displayed on a touchscreen. The state visualization may include a control for a controlled system and an indicator of a state of the controlled system. The indicator may be for an initial state of the controlled system. An indication of an initial touch input to the control may be received. It may be determined that touch input to the control has persisted for a threshold amount of time after the initial touch input to the control. An instruction may be sent to change state to the controlled system. The instruction may be based on the initial state of the controlled system. An updated state of the controlled system may be received. The indicator of the state visualization may be changed to an indicator for the updated state of the controlled system.

  • Patent number: 9881492
Abstract: The shielding status of a security system may be determined based on shielding statuses of individual devices in the security system. The shielding status of each individual device in the security system may be determined based on whether it is in a secured state and is properly functioning. The shielding status of the security system may be determined based on equally or unequally weighted shielding statuses of the individual devices. The shielding status of the security system may be transmitted to a mobile device carried by a user who is outside of the monitored environment. The shielding status of the security system may also be transmitted to the security monitoring company, the device vendor, or the homeowner insurance carrier, which may advertise products or services or provide incentives to the user based on the shielding status of the security system.

  • Publication number: 20170021385
Abstract: Embodiments described herein relate to methods of forming liquid-impregnated surfaces, and in particular to methods of preparing solid particle solutions for forming textured surfaces which can be impregnated with an impregnating liquid to form a liquid-impregnated surface. In some embodiments, a method of forming a textured surface includes dissolving a solid in a solvent to form a solution. The solid has a concentration, which is less than a first saturation concentration of the solid in the solvent at a first temperature and greater than a second saturation concentration of the solid in the solvent at a second temperature. The solution is allowed to form a solid particle solution. The solid particle solution is then disposed on a surface and the solvent is allowed to evaporate to form the textured surface on the surface.
