Abstract: A mounting assembly for a silencer of an exhauster assembly includes a mounting plate. The mounting plate has an opening configured to receive an exhauster of the exhauster assembly while the exhauster is coupled to a structure of a vehicle at least partially separately from the mounting plate. In addition, the mounting plate has a first side configured to face the structure of the vehicle and a second side configured to face the silencer. The mounting assembly also includes at least one exhauster mounting feature configured to couple the mounting plate to the exhauster. Furthermore, the mounting assembly includes a silencer mounting feature configured to couple the silencer to the mounting plate.

Abstract: A fiber material assembly has a base fiber material disposed at least partly behind a oxidized polyacrylonitrile (PAN) fiber material that is secured to at least one side of the base fiber base material. The fiber material assembly provides a high thermal resistance via a low area weight usage of oxidized PAN fibers which overlie a base fiber material. The fiber material assembly can be provided such that the oxidized PAN fiber material provides either full or localized coverage, on one side or both sides, of the underlying base fiber material. The fiber material assembly provides the functionality of an acoustic heat shield or structural part with high thermal capacity.

Abstract: A fishing reel end plate may comprise a unitary disk having a generally central opening between a frame facing side and an exterior side thereof, a bridge proximate the frame facing side thereof and a wall joining a fundus and the exterior side thereof defining a first cavity open at the exterior side. The bridge may have a hole spaced apart from a generally central opening for receiving a stud. The unitary disk may have a second cavity open at the frame facing side and separated from the first cavity by a common portion of the wall, and the common wall portion may have an opening between the first and second cavities. The end plate may be mounted to the frame of a fishing reel.
