    Abstract: A specular dual compound reflector having a cross section in the form of hyperbolas is disclosed. This reflector is combined with energy saving fluorescent tubes and ballast, forming a fluorescent light fixture for the purpose of providing adequate and uniform illumination to a surface, subdue shadows, provide agreeable illumination, and resulting in substantial energy savings. Two similar configurations are disclosed.
