Publication number: 20230119066Abstract: This disclosure provides isolated antibodies, for example, monoclonal antibodies, that specifically bind to the C-C Motif Chemokine Receptor 8 (CCR8) expressed on the surface of a cell and mediate depletion of the CCR8-expressing cell by anti-body-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC). The disclosure provides methods for treating a subject afflicted with a cancer comprising administering to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of an anti-CCR8 antibody as monotherapy or in combination with an anti-cancer agent such as an immune checkpoint inhibitor, for example, an anti-PD-1 or anti-PD-L1 antibody.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 22, 2021Publication date: April 20, 2023Inventors: Ruth Yin-Zong Lan, Olufemi A. Patent number: 9213673Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for providing networked applications that are segmented into multiple client-cached executable modules. Multiple networked applications are provided by an application server, and a module cache is maintained in a client. The client obtains a user invocation of a particular functionality associated with a networked application. One of the modules associated with the particular functionality is obtained by the client from the application server over a network in response to determining that the module is not already in the module cache. The module is executed by the client to provide the particular functionality. A data cache may be implemented that includes data blocks that have been used, are being used, or are predicted to be used by the networked application.Type: GrantFiled: February 21, 2013Date of Patent: December 15, 2015Assignee: VIA TECHNOLOGIES, INC.Inventor: John K. Patent number: 8004963Abstract: Apparatus and method for packet redundancy and recovery are disclosed. In a transmitter, parity packets are generated by executing exclusive OR between the corresponding data packets, and are transmitted along with the data packets to a receiver. In the receiver, lost data packets are found out and are recovered by executing exclusive OR between the corresponding data packets and the corresponding parity packets. This invention enhances the reliability of streaming data transmission using loss-recovery packets. Data packets are grouped and transmitted with redundant packets to allow the receiver to recover a lost packet within the group. This will minimize the need and therefore the time and delay to request a retransmission of the damaged or lost packets.Type: GrantFiled: February 23, 2009Date of Patent: August 23, 2011Assignee: Audividi Inc.Inventors: Rong-Wen Chang, John K. Patent number: 7960797Abstract: A semiconductor device structure includes staggered contacts to facilitate small pitches between active-device regions and conductive lines while minimizing one or both of misalignment during fabrication of the contacts and contact resistance between sections of the contacts. The contacts of one row communicate with every other active-device region and are staggered relative to the contacts of another row, which communicate with the remaining active-device regions. Each contact may include a relatively large contact plug with a relatively large upper surface to provide a relatively large amount of tolerance as a contact hole for an upper portion of the contact that is formed. The contact holes may be formed substantially simultaneously with trenches for conductive traces, such as bit lines, in a dual damascene process. Intermediate structures are also disclosed, as are methods for designing semiconductor device structures.Type: GrantFiled: August 29, 2006Date of Patent: June 14, 2011Assignee: Micron Technology, Inc.Inventors: John K. Lee, Hyuntae Kim, Richard L. Stocks, Luan Tran

Patent number: 7268004Abstract: An active matrix display that does not require a transistor or similar current switching device at each pixel. Instead, the display employs in each pixel a temperature-controlled current source that provides to the field emitters of the pixel an amount of electrical current which varies in response to the temperature of a temperature sensor. Each pixel further includes a thermoelectric heat transfer circuit which transfers heat to or from the sensor in an amount which varies in response to the video signal. Consequently, the video signal controls the temperature of the sensor within a pixel's temperature-controlled current source, which controls the current flow through the pixel's field emitters.Type: GrantFiled: January 13, 2003Date of Patent: September 11, 2007Assignee: Micron Technology, Inc.Inventor: John K. Patent number: 7128842Abstract: A layer of polyimide or polysilicon is used as a mask in vapor hydrogen fluoride etching. Both non-photosensitive and photosensitive type polyimide may be used. A non-photosensitive polyimide mask requires the use of photoresist for patterning with a lithographic mask. Alternatively, photosensitive type polyimide may be patterned directly with the use of a lithographic mask. The resulting polyimide mask enables the etching of very small features with great uniformity. Such etching may be used to expose micropoint emitters of field emission devices.Type: GrantFiled: November 27, 2000Date of Patent: October 31, 2006Inventors: Tianhong Zhang, John K. Lee
