    Abstract: A cleaning system for furnace walls in which a cleaning fluid such as air is manifolded through numerous small slots in the furnace wall, exiting adjacent the curved surfaces of the heat exchange tubes. The fluid attaches to and follows the curved tube surfaces to continuously scrub the soot therefrom.
