    Abstract: A lighting system for efficiently illuminating various structures using LEDs and fiber-optics. The lighting system generally includes a base unit including at least a first socket and a second socket. A first light source is positioned within the first socket and a second light source is positioned within the second socket, wherein more light sources are used for additional sockets. A first lens may be positioned within the first socket over the first light source to emit a first color and a second lens may be positioned within the second socket over the second light source to emit a second color. At least some of the colors of the lenses are preferably different. At least one light transmitter including a light gathering end and a light dispersing end is positioned within a selected socket to emit a respective color through the light dispersing end.
