  • Publication number: 20140109388
Abstract: A pulling head work station for attaching the lugs of pulling heads to cables, so that the cables may be pulled simultaneously through a conduit. The pulling head work station includes staggered cable receiving jigs, each jig having two clamps to hold a corresponding cable in place during attachment of a pulling lug. A chop saw to cut the cables and a crimper to secure a pulling lug to each stripped end portion of a cable may be slidably mounted to a work surface of the work station. A wire stripper may be removably attached to the work station.

  • Patent number: 5463177
Abstract: The extraction process includes supplying solvent under gas pressure for introduction of the solvent adjacent the bottom of a vessel containing the sample. The vessel lies in a water bath and ultrasonic energy is applied to the bath and hence to the sample to facilitate interaction between the solvent and the sample. Because the solvent is immiscible in the sample and of lesser density, the solvent and solubilized material rise to the top of the vessel. An extraction tube under vacuum pressure continuously removes the solvent with the solubilized material.

  • Patent number: 4495775
Abstract: A container for shipping transportable materials at cryogenic temperatures including a vessel which opens to the atmosphere and contains a micro-fibrous structure for holding a liquefied gas such as liquid nitrogen in adsorption and capillary suspension. The micro-fibrous structure comprises a core permeable to liquid and gaseous nitrogen and an adsorption matrix composed of randomly oriented inorganic fibers surrounding the core as a homogeneous body in stable confinement.

  • Patent number: 4411138
Abstract: A double walled nonpressurized cryogenic storage container having an elongated neck tube in combination with a closure assembly for the neck tube. The closure assembly includes a neck plug and a neck tube adapter having access means for sensor and fill lines. The neck tube adapter has an outer shell and an inner shell with a multiplicity of radially projecting spacer elements for establishing an annular space between the outer shell and the neck tube. The inner shell is preferably eccentric to the outer shell.
