    Abstract: A pair of collapsible supports 12, 14 have a collar 18 positioned on the upper end of one support 12 forming an integral part therewith. The device 10 is designed to be used in pairs on the ends of a user supplied rod 26. Each stand 10 is slidably inserted onto the distal ends of the rod 26 by a collar 18 and the legs 12, 14 are then pivotally extended to their open position thereby providing a device for supporting a spool 32 of material rotatively mounted on the rod.
