  • Patent number: 10463181
Abstract: A free-standing disposable cake protector with a plurality of extendable foldable legs, a transparent top panel and a flexible transparent side wall. The top panel includes sockets capable of accepting birthday candles. The extension legs can be extended or retracted to accommodate the height of the cake being protected. The foldable legs with the fixedly attached side panel provide means to transport and store the cake protector in compact flat configuration. The cake protector provides protection from candle wax and from exposure to saliva expelled by a person blowing candles out when the cake protector is in unfolded configuration.

  • Publication number: 20190082870
Abstract: A disposable cake protector with a main frame, a plurality of foldable legs, a plurality of extension legs, a top panel and a flexible side wall. The top panel is rigid and transparent and has a C shaped perimeter configuration capable of snapping onto the main frame. The top panel includes sockets capable of accepting birthday candles. The foldable legs are hollow and have a C shaped top portion that allows them to be rotationally connected to the main frame. The extension legs each slidably fit within each the hollow leg. The flexible side wall is attached to the inner wall of each the foldable leg so that when the foldable legs are unfolded the flexible side wall unfolds to match the side wall of the cake that it is protecting. The extension legs can be extended or retracted to accommodate the height of the cake being protected.

  • Patent number: 8869555
Abstract: An article of jewelry with interchangeable ornaments has an elongated support or a strand that has a proximal end that is permanently affixed to a first ring cap and a distal end that is removably affixed to a second ring cap. The second cap has female threads that threadably engage/disengage with a male threaded plug defined on the distal end of the strand to facilitate slidable insertion/removal of ornaments and smart beads. The first ring cap includes a clasp that is attachable to a loop of the second ring cap to define a closed position of the article. The first and second ring caps may include magnets that magnetically attach to each other that define an inbuilt clasp for the article.
