    Abstract: Apparatus and method for the automatic transport, alignment, and positive orientation of electronic components such as transistors, and the subsequent straightening, trimming to length, and forming of the component wire leads. Components are transported linearly into position and positively located for the lead straightening, trimming and forming operations, these functions being carried out in a single motion at a single station thereby facilitating relatively high processing rates.
