  • Publication number: 20090293680
Abstract: The present invention relates to an improved method for the recovery of metal values, in particular copper and gold, from a metal value-bearing material containing arsenic and/or antimony and a source of sulphate ions, by means of a high temperature pressure oxidation process followed by cyanidation of the resultant high temperature pressure oxidation residue.

  • Publication number: 20090019970
Abstract: A method for the recovery of metal values from a metal value-bearing material containing arsenic and/or antimony and a source of sulphate ions such as sulphide ore or concentrate is disclosed.
    Type: Application
    Filed: October 19, 2006

  • Publication number: 20060137922
Abstract: A steam driven road vehicle having a firebox, a boiler, a drive mechanism operated by steam from the boiler, a water supply supplying water to the boiler, and a drive connection connected between the drive mechanism and an axle of the vehicle. A fuel bin is supported by the vehicle frame holds a supply of fuel to be fed to the firebox. A power driven conveyor conveys fuel from the fuel bin to the firebox. An electrical system is made up of a plug-in element which connects with an electric source, and a preheating element on the boiler for producing preheat in the boiler. A heat control device controls the temperature of the output of the preheating element, and a time control device is arranged to energize the preheating element prior to driving the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20050137033
Abstract: A golf ball and tee placement device and retrieval apparatus formed from a hollow shaft in which is placed a first plate fastened to one end of the shaft and a second plate fastened to the end of the elongated rod. Two support members fixedly secure a third plate having a tee-receiving recess. The support members pass through the first and second plates to maintain the second plate in alignment with the first and third plates. Resilient elements such as springs engage the first and second plates biasing the second plate away from the first plate. The second plate is movably toward the first plate until the distance between the second plate and the third plate permits the placement of a golf ball and a cooperating tee therebetween. The second plate is movable toward the third plate to position the tee into the playing surface and the ball in a playable position on the tee when the rod and second plate are moved upwardly and away the ball and tee.
