  • Patent number: 11895065
Abstract: A computer implemented method includes supplying to a client device prompts for a first individual to provide a vote for a preference of the first individual. The preference relates to an activity during an ephemeral time period. The vote is collected. Matches between the first individual and a pool of individuals are generated based upon common votes and matching criteria. The matches are supplied to the client device. A match acceptance for a second individual is collected from the client device. Network communication is enabled between the first individual and the second individual.

  • Patent number: 11895563
Abstract: A computer implemented method includes monitoring at a server electronic communications over a network between a first matched individual at a first client device and a second matched individual at a second client device. The monitoring includes observing initiator electronic communication contributions originating at the first client device and recipient electronic communication contributions originating at the second client device, maintaining a total electronic communications count between the first client device and the second client device, and measuring an electronic communications duration period from an initial initiator electronic communication and a last electronic communication. Based on the monitored electronic communications, it is determined that one or both of the first matched individual and the second matched individual are ready for an in-person meeting. A prompt is supplied to the first client device to initiate the in-person meeting.

  • Patent number: 4140270
Abstract: A centrifugal separator particulary adapted for food products removes foreign particles and objects which are denser than the main slurry. It is especially effective in removing trace amounts of metal and bone fragments and other hard foreign material from meats, emulsified batters and other food mixtures without materially changing the physical character of the input product. The separator includes a centrifuge chamber with a central impeller, with specific spatial relationships between the impeller and the nearby axially disposed inlet opening. Food batter or slurry is moved through the separator by the action of the impeller driving the slurry radially outwardly, in combination with a set of pumping vanes positioned adjacent to and communicating with the centrifuge chamber. Foreign matter denser than the main batter or slurry collects on a peripheral wall of the chamber and is not discharged, it being generally of small volume.
