    Abstract: A shaft assembly includes first and second shafts that are easily separable. The first shaft has a longitudinal axis, and includes an output end having an axially opening cavity. The second shaft has an end received in the axially opening cavity. A passageway is formed through one of the first and second shafts and is in fluid communication with the cavity for pumping a fluid through the passageway into the cavity between the first and second shafts to axially urge the second shaft out of the cavity.
