  • Patent number: 6647301
Abstract: A process control system receiving input signals from a controlled apparatus and using the input signals in determining at least one output signal modifying the characteristics of at least one respective control device in the controlled apparatus where the source code for the general control of the apparatus and the source code for the safety shutdown system of the apparatus are compiled to control code in a unified compilation.

  • Patent number: 5726668
Abstract: A graphics display system including one or more display panels having a plurality of lights, a graphics panel data processor including at least one microprocessor, logic for establishing a correspondence between the process variables and selected lights, logic for determining the current state of each of the process variables and transmitting a signal to the corresponding light(s) on the panel to activate the light depending on the current state of the corresponding process variable, and communication means for rapid periodic communication of the process variable data from a process control computer utilizing the graphics display system to each of the panels in the system.

  • Patent number: 4817321
Abstract: A multipurpose tool for a cap lock muzzle loading firearm. The combination tool includes a number of disengageable tools which are used in the charging and priming of a firearm, and following discharge, removal of spent or unfired caps and removal with cleaning and/or replacement of the nipple if conditions merit. The combination of the tool components may be varied for servicing a particulate part of the firearm.

  • Patent number: 4596015
Abstract: The present invention is an approach for verifying the operation of read only memory digital pads associated with the switching network digital switching system. Any failures are detected and an indication is transmitted for fault detection and recovery.

  • Patent number: 4413335
Abstract: This fault recovery system determines the integrity of a duplex digital PCM switching network. The two copies of the switching network operate in synchronization and comparison of the outputs of each copy of the switching network takes place in order to detect network faults. The fault recovery mechanism is chiefly provided by inserting PCM samples from maintenance registers into the PCM data stream, through the digital switching network and trapping said PCM sample for analysis by the program. Subsequently, the logical unit corresponding to each fault is determined and a count is recorded corresponding to each unit.
