  • Patent number: 11957307
Abstract: Various apparatuses to attach a first medical device to a second medical device are described that allow the physician to grasp only a single device while the other device remains securely attached to the one being grasped. The apparatuses, once they are attached to the first medical device, are designed to be easily and quickly attached and detached to a second medical device, normally only requiring the use of one hand. Furthermore, the apparatuses oftentimes include a base that can easily couple and decouple from the portion that is attached to the second medical device so that if the need arises to separately use the second medical device, it can be decoupled from the first medical device without completely removing the apparatus from the second medical device.

  • Patent number: 5245131
Abstract: The present invention relates to a cabinet for containing and holding telecommunications apparatus coupled to telephone field cables. The cabinet includes a cabinet housing, at least one cable entrance port through the cabinet housing to allow cables to enter the cabinet and a cable entrance seal positionable around the cable and securable to the cabinet housing for sealing all openings between the cable and periphery of the cable entrance port. In particular, the cable entrance seal is a rigid collar capable of supporting a moisture-blocking material snugly around the cable positioned therein and is attachable to the cabinet by a twist and lock securing means. Furthermore, the rigid collar may be bifurcated into two sections to facilitate positioning of the collar around a cable when the cable has no free-ends available for the collar to be slid over.

  • Patent number: 5239128
Abstract: An improvement is disclosed for a cabinet housing separate arrays of terminals connected to one end of leads in wire harnesses, the other end of such harness leads being connected through splices to insulated wire leads in field cables running to such cabinet and respective to such arrays. The leads in separate of such cables are electrically coupled by connections including such splices, harness leads and terminals and completed by jumper leads bridging terminals in separate of such arrays. The improvement constitutes providing on the back side of the cabinet a plurality of splice chambers each respective to one of the terminal arrays and one of the cables, placing in each splice chamber the splices of the harness leads for the corresponding terminal array and the wire leads of the corresponding cable, and filling such chamber with a body of material which encapsulates the assembly of such splices and adjacent lengths of such leads.
