  • Patent number: 6306292
Abstract: A fuel filter and pressure regulator assembly includes a housing, an inlet tube, an outlet and return tube each made of stainless steel. An annular filter element is disposed within the housing and abuts at one end a pressure regulator element which is mounted within an O-ring retainer that is fixed within the housing. A resilient device, such as a wave washer or O-ring, is compressed as the assembly is assembled. In operation, fuel flows in through the inlet tube which is radially offset at a first end of the housing and into an annular space around the annular filter element. The fuel then flows through the filter media and the filter element and out of the outlet tube which is aligned with a hollow core of the filter media. If fuel pressure is too high, the fuel then flows through the pressure regulator, out of the return tube and back to the fuel tank.

  • Patent number: 5575511
Abstract: A fluid coupling bracket adaptable for snap-on engagement with a coupling base. The fluid coupling bracket has tabs that engage with an annular groove of the fluid coupling base, and a plurality of teeth that set against radially extending ledges protruding from the external surfaces of the base and adjacent to the annular groove. The bracket has an extending flange portion having various size U-shaped recesses for fixing the bracket in supporting relationship with the fluid line.

  • Patent number: 4933079
Abstract: A fluid coupling including a coupling base with a fluid passage therethrough, and a rotatable fluid line supporting bracket. The bracket is adjustable depending on the direction of fluid line approach, and is fixable once a desired configuration is determined. The fluid coupling base includes an annular groove in which the pipe support bracket is rotatably engaged. The bracket may be fixed in position once a desired configuration is obtained, thus fixing the bracket in supporting relationship with the fluid line.

  • Patent number: 4906029
Abstract: A fuel filter nipple with a sleeve portion that fits directly into a fuel filter housing. One flange abuts and is brazed onto the housing. The nipple is formed of a tubular member with longitudinally spaced openings, one of which is larger than the other. One end of the sleeve portion defines the first opening, while the other end of it forms the flange which abuts the housing. The tubular member has a body portion extending from the flange to the other opening, as well as another flange located somewhere along the body portion.

  • Patent number: 4861474
Abstract: A fluid coupling including a coupling base with a fluid passage therethrough, and a rotatable fluid line supporting bracket. The bracket is adjustable depending on the direction of fluid line approach, and is fixable once a desired configuration is determined. The fluid coupling base includes an annular groove in which the pipe support bracket is rotatably engaged. The bracket may be crimped once a desired configuration is obtained, thus fixing the bracket in position on the coupling base to support the fluid line.
