A memory stores drug data identifying a plurality of drugs, and, for each drug, at least one indication for the drug and a unit dose value of the drug to be administered for treating each indication, and evidence-based data indicative of an effectiveness of each drug for treating the at least one indication. Input data identifying a selected drug is received, the at least one indication for the selected drug determined, the unit dose value of the selected drug for the at least one indication and the evidence-based data for the selected drug retrieved from the memory, a measure of a level of confidence in the evidence-based data for the selected drug determined, and the at least one indication, the unit dose value, and the measure of the level of confidence output for the selected drug.

The memory is populated with a plurality of diagnoses each associated with at least a corresponding one of a plurality of treatment protocols adapted for treating at least one animal species and at least one ailment. Each one of the plurality of treatment protocols is supported by evidence-based research.

The honey product retains the physical and palatable properties of untreated honey while having a prolonged shelf-life.
