  • Patent number: 10186816
Abstract: A bracket and associated components provides a means to securely install one or more connectors within a dropped ceiling. The bracket can be mounted to a drop wire or threaded rod within a ceiling space, thereby suspending the bracket and associated connectors within the ceiling space. One or more connectors coupled to a cable can be directly installed on the bracket via port windows cut into the bracket. Alternatively, a surface mount box containing connectors can be mounted on the bracket to yield a protected, strain-resistant connector installation within the ceiling space. The bracket and associated components can be made of plenum-rated materials, making the mounting solution suitable for installations within plenum spaces.

  • Patent number: 9432084
Abstract: A testable modular audio, video, data low voltage box is provided. A low voltage box can receive cabling and terminate the cabling within the low voltage box creating a telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) permanent link that is fully testable. Modular faceplates can be interfaced with the low voltage box providing varying types of output ports. The modular faceplates are removable and replaceable.

  • Patent number: 7714227
Abstract: A cable junction box has a curved shape to at least part of its enclosure allowing for coiling of extra cable length into a desired service loop within the enclosure. The cable junction box has a cover with a mud ring integrated with a wall plate bracket to allow for interfacing with a wall and has a cable input to receive cabling into the enclosure. Attachment plates are located on the periphery of the enclosure to be selectively used to attach the cable junction box to a mounting bracket coupled to a wall stud. The attachment plates allow for flexibility in positioning of the cable junction box to be attached to the wall stud. The enclosure has connection locations for the front cover and other connection locations for the cable inlet to allow for further flexibility in positioning of the front cover and the cable inlet.

  • Patent number: 5296112
Abstract: An oxygen sensor having a main body member with an interior chamber, made from material which is an oxygen ion conducting solid electrolyte when at specified temperatures. Electrodes made from material which is porous to oxygen molecules are positioned opposite each other on the main body member, within the interior chamber an d on the outside of the main body. Via a port which extends through the main body, changes in the absolute pressure of gas to be tested in the environs of the outer electrode are transmitted to the gas in the environs of the inner electrode. As a result of reference gas being introduced into the interior chamber of the main body through an orifice at a pressure sufficient to maintain the rate of flow at its critical (and therefore constant) rate of flow, the environs of the inner electrode are occupied by reference gas and a flow of gas results, through the main body member from the region of the inner electrode and out through the port.

  • Patent number: 4320659
Abstract: An ultrasonic system that measures either the impedance of a fluid or liquid level utilizes moderately directional, bulk SV mode sound waves generated by a transducer and propagated in a homogeneous, flaw-free solid member. The SV wave propagates in the solid along a zigzag path that reflects at a solid-fluid interface in at least two areas and at an angle of incidence that exceeds the first critical angle by at least five degrees and is less than the second critical angle by at least ten degrees. The attenuated amplitude of the wave due to acoustic coupling between the solid and the fluid measures the impedance or an impedance related parameter of the fluid. The system preferably includes a second acoustic path that serves as a reference to compensate for changes in parameters such as temperature, the nature of the fluid, the transducer, the transducer coupling, and residues or corrosion at the solid-fluid interface.
