  • Patent number: 5730120
Abstract: A bed ventilator includes an electric motor driven axial flow fan for moving air between a mattress and a bed cover thereon. The fan and associated duct work is mounted on a thin flat support tongue extended beneath the mattress and sandwiched between the mattress and its supporting bed structure such as a box spring. The associated duct work includes telescopic duct sections adjustable to accommodate mattresses of different thickness and locking screws are provided for securing a selected telescopic relation between the duct sections for a particular mattress involved.

  • Patent number: 4620755
Abstract: There is provided a cable sheath connector for use with a communication cable of the type having a plurality of insulated conductor wires held in cylindrical form by an inner insulating plastic film wrapped tightly around the connectors and a thin metallic shield placed over the plastic film with a final outer protective cover. The connector includes an inner base and stud member, and an outer clamp member. The outer clamp member has an elongated body portion in cross section with projections extending inwardly, each of the projections having a flat contact area which will penetrate the outer protective cover of a cable and maintain metal to metal contact with the metal shield without piercing the shield. The outer clamp maintains compressive load on the shield clamped between the inner base and the outer clamp.

  • Patent number: 3985383
Abstract: An indexing device includes a layer of film and pressure sensitive adhesive material located on at least a portion of one side of the layer of film to enable the layer of film to adhere to an object such as a finger. The indexing device further includes material having a very high coefficient of friction with respect to the objects to be indexed disposed upon at least a portion of the second side of the film layer. By sliding the material disposed on the second side of the indexing device across a planar object such as a sheet of paper, a substantial frictional force is developed that resists the relative movement of the indexing device and the planar object. This resistance to relative movement serves to index or separate the planar object from adjacent planar objects.
