  • Publication number: 20250081940
Abstract: Disclosed is a mounting base 300 for attaching a portable electronic device 402 to a collar apparatus 400. Mounting base 300 includes a frame 102 and a latch 200. Latch 200 is moveable between a latched position and an unlatched position. Latch 200includes an actuator 206 with a button 208 that may be depressed by a user to manually move latch 200 between the latched and unlatched positions. A portable electronic device 402 includes an insertion portion 410 that is received in a receiving aperture 108 in the frame 102. Once the insertion portion 410 is inserted, the device 402 may be rotated manually to engage latch 200. During rotation, a lock stub 216 on latch 200engages a corresponding feature on insertion portion 410, thereby preventing counter-rotation of device 402. Additionally, one or more tabs 120 on frame 102 interfere with corresponding structure on insertion portion 410 to secure device 402 onto mounting base 300.

  • Patent number: 12248888
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for facilitating the tuning of hyperparameter values during the development of machine learning (ML) models using visual analytics in a data science platform. In an example embodiment, a computer-implemented data science platform is configured to generate, and display to a user, interactive visualizations that dynamically change in response to user interaction. Using the introduced technique, a user can, for example, 1) tune hyperparameters through an iterative process using visual analytics to gain and use insights into how certain hyperparameters affect model performance and convergence, 2) leverage automation and recommendations along this process to optimize the tuning given available resources, 3) collaborate with peers, and 4) view costs associated with executing experiments during the tuning process.

Abstract: A method includes receiving, by a processing device of a content sharing platform, a request for desired content from a client device, the content being stored in a content delivery network (CDN). The method further includes generating, based on data available to the content sharing platform, a partial trust metric associated with the client device, wherein the partial trust metric is to be used by a CDN server to make a decision regarding access to the desired content by the client device. The method further includes generating a response to the content request, wherein the response comprises one or more resource locators for accessing the desired content in the CDN, and the partial trust metric. The method further includes sending the response to the client device to enable the client device to request the desired content from the CDN server using the resource locator(s) and the partial trust metric.

  • Patent number: 12244764
Abstract: A captioned telephone service (CTS) system for blocking spam calls includes a CTS server and a database. A CTS user's equipment is associated with a CTS number and an original phone number. The CTS server is configured to allow the user to elect to use an original number service and a call drop service. If the original number service is set, when the user places a phone call to a peer by using the CTS number, the original phone number, instead of the CTS number, is displayed as caller identification on a communications device of the peer. The CTS server assists the user to set up call forwarding and checks whether the call forwarding was successfully set. If the call drop service is set, the CTS server drops a call, directed to the CTS number. However, emergent calls or emergency related calls are excluded from the call drop service.
