The method may further include, in response to receiving and identifying navigation direction data from a navigation service provider, converting the navigation direction data into different electrical communications to different vehicle components that may include one or more combinations of a light indicator component, a sound indicator component, and a vibration indicator component associated with a vehicle. The method may also include automatically presenting the real-time navigation directions using the different vehicle components by automatically transmitting the electrical communications based on the navigation direction data to the one or more combinations of the light indicator component, the sound indicator component, and the vibration indicator component.

    Abstract: This application relates to a client-server architecture that enables progress tracking related to assignments generated by an instructor. A hand-out can include attachments that specify placeholders for hand-ins and/or activities to be performed by the student as part of the assignment. Some activities can be performed using third-party applications that implement at least a portion of a software framework that causes the applications to generate progress tracking information provided to a daemon executing in the background of a client device. The daemon and/or a client application interface with one or more network services to enable an instructor to utilize the progress tracking information. The network services can include a hand-out service utilized to generate hand-outs assigned to a group of students. The network services can also include a progress pipeline including a number of services configured to process progress tracking information received from a plurality of client devices.

The partially trusted application may identify the iFrame in which the access token broker is executing and request an access token from the access token broker. The access token broker determines whether the request for the access token is to be granted. If the request is to be granted, the access token broker requests the access token from a hosting application. The hosting application obtains the requested access token from an access token server and provides the access token to the access token broker. The access token broker receives the access token from the hosting application and provides the access token to the partially trusted application.

    Abstract: In some implementations, a controller for a hybrid powertrain system may cause disengagement of an engine from an electric machine via a clutch based on a state of charge (SOC) of one or more batteries connected to the electric machine at least meeting an SOC threshold. Disengagement of the engine may cause the hybrid powertrain system to operate in an electric-only mode for powering a load. The controller may detect a power event that includes at least one of a level of demand of the load exceeding a demand threshold, or the SOC of the one or more batteries being below the SOC threshold. The controller may cause, based on detection of the power event, engagement of the engine with the electric machine via the clutch. Engagement of the engine may enable the hybrid powertrain system to operate in a hybrid mode for powering the load.

A plurality of storage nodes within a single chassis that can proactively rebuild the user data stored within the storage nodes is also provided.
