  • Publication number: 20230312917
Abstract: An amorphous or semi-crystalline polymer/aPHA composition (masterbatch) has a high load of aPHA (30 to 50 wt % based on the total amount of the composition). A method for production of the composition includes two or more split feedings of the aPHA in a blending or mixing or compounding operation. The method includes feeding about 1-15 weight percent (wt %) of the total aPHA in a primary feed hopper of a blending or mixing or compounding apparatus and about 30-49 weight percent downstream in the process.

  • Publication number: 20140108408
Abstract: Among other things, one or more techniques and/or systems are provided for maintaining a topic collection. That is, a topic collection (e.g., a vacation topic collection) may be created for a user, such that the user may store content associated with various applications (e.g., images from a social network app, vacation blogs, hotel price lists, sightseeing websites, etc.) as one or more entries within the topic collection. In this way, the user may easily organize, review, and/or share content through the topic collection. Recommendations of supplement content, which may be relevant to the topic collection, may be provided to the user. For example, entries within vacation topic collections of other users (e.g., to similar destinations) may be identified as supplemental content and recommended to the user. In this way, the user may accomplish a search task by organizing content into a single source.

  • Publication number: 20130046075
Abstract: A double-walled plastic jar for cosmetic materials, having an inner compartment to hold the cosmetic, and an annular outer side wall defining the exterior of the jar. The inner compartment carries the lip that seals with a screw cap, and also carries an external skirt, which latter has the screw threads for engagement by the cap. In addition, a weight is disposed in a-concealed manner in the base of the jar, between the walls, to give the jar a heft feel, characteristic of glass or thick plastic walls.
