  • Patent number: 7707458
Abstract: An electronic system comprising a system to be monitored (2) and a plurality of fault-monitoring systems (4, 6) each of which is adapted to output a fault signal when an input indicates that the electronic system is in a fault condition associated with the fault-monitoring system. The fault-monitoring systems are arranged in a cascade fashion such that a fault signal output from one fault-monitoring system (4) is provided as an input to a subsequent fault-monitoring system (6) in the cascade of fault-monitoring systems to simulate a fault condition associated with the subsequent fault-monitoring system. The output of the final fault-monitoring system in the cascade gives an indication of whether there is a fault with any of the fault-monitoring systems.

  • Patent number: 4895686
Abstract: A process for the production of foam cushions having textile covers by inserting a textile cover into a mold cavity having gates which project into the mold cavity, initially preforming the textile cover by applying a vacuum through holes in the mold cavity such that the textile cover conforms to the contour on both sides of the gates, clamping the textile cover against the gates, optionally further positioning the textile cover such that it conforms to the contours of both the gates and the mold cavity, releasing the clamps and introducing a foam-forming reaction mixture into the mold cavity. The present invention is also directed to a form tool having gates, means for applying a vacuum through holes in the mold cavity in gates and clamping means for clamping the mold cover to the gates.
